Humorous. Glamourous. Travel Luscious. Unexpected.
In July 2009, I left my home (in the U.S.) and set off — alone — to see the world. During that time, I’ve lived in three different countries (South Korea, Thailand, and Norway) and backpacked through nearly 30 countries. One night while backpacking, I stepped into a hostel in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia, and met the man who is now my husband. We currently live in Australia with our 9-month-old son.
This blog is about my current life as a mother and expat in Australia, as well as stories from the past 6 years I spent traveling as a solo female backpacker.
